Stake dice Auto Bet settings: every option explained

By the StakeDices team · Updated

Stake's Auto Bet runs dice rolls automatically using rules you set: the base bet, the win chance, what happens to the bet after a win or a loss, and when to stop. Configured well, it lets a strategy run AFK with discipline no human can match. Configured badly, it busts a balance faster than any manual player could.

Here is what each setting does and how to use it safely.

The core settings

  • Bet amount: your base bet. Everything else multiplies from here, so it is the most important number on the panel.
  • Win chance / multiplier / roll over-under: the odds of each roll. Payout is always 99 ÷ win chance.
  • Number of bets: how many rolls before Auto Bet stops. Leave it at 0 (infinite) only if your stop rules are set.
  • On win: reset to base bet, or increase by a percentage.
  • On loss: reset to base bet, or increase by a percentage (100% is a classic martingale at 2x).
  • Stop on profit: Auto Bet stops once session profit reaches this value.
  • Stop on loss: Auto Bet stops once session loss reaches this value.

Advanced mode

Stake also offers an advanced Auto Bet mode with conditional rules, for example acting only after a streak of a given length or when profit passes a threshold. These rules allow progressions that start late or slow down, which can extend how many losses a balance survives. Every extra rule is also an extra way to misconfigure the session, so test changes on tiny bets first.

The five mistakes that bust AFK sessions

  1. No stop on loss. The session can only end at zero.
  2. Base bet sized by feel. Check it in the loss streak calculator first.
  3. Increase on loss below the minimum for the payout, so a win does not recover the streak and losses pile up.
  4. Raising the base bet after a red session to 'win it back'.
  5. Infinite number of bets with no profit target, so good sessions are given back to variance.

A safe setup routine

Before every session: set the bankroll, compute the base bet, enter profit and loss stops, confirm the increase on loss matches the payout, and run a handful of rolls at the smallest bet to verify the panel behaves as expected. Then start.

Frequently asked questions

Can Stake Auto Bet run while I am away?

Yes, Auto Bet keeps rolling until it reaches the number of bets or a stop condition. Because it runs unattended, stop on profit and stop on loss should always be set.

What should I put in 'on loss'?

For a recovery progression, at least 100 ÷ (payout − 1) percent: 100% at 2x, 50% at 3x. For flat betting, choose reset. Anything else changes the risk profile; test it in the loss streak calculator.

Do I need a script or bot?

No. Everything in this guide uses Stake's built-in Auto Bet panel. You never need to share your login with anyone.
