Loss Streak Calculator for Stake Dice

Enter your balance, base bet, win chance and increase on loss. You get every bet of the progression, the balance left after each loss, the profit if that roll wins, and the exact point where the next bet is greater than your balance, plus the real probability of hitting that streak.

Why the loss streak limit is the only number that matters

Any progression that raises the bet after a loss, from a classic martingale to a softer 50% increase, wins small amounts often and loses a big amount rarely. The rare loss happens when the losing streak is longer than your balance can pay for. Your loss streak limit is that length. Know it before you press Auto Bet.

How to use the calculator

  1. Balance: what you are willing to risk in this session, not your whole wallet.
  2. Base bet: the first bet of the progression.
  3. Win chance: the dice chance you play. Changing it fills in the minimum recommended increase on loss automatically.
  4. Increase on loss: the % Stake's Auto Bet adds to the bet after a loss.
  5. Multiply every: apply the increase only every N losses (1 = every loss).

How often do losing streaks happen on Stake dice?

The table below shows the probability of seeing at least one losing streak of the given length at 49.5% win chance (50.5% loss chance), computed exactly with a Markov chain, not estimated.

Read it this way: a setup that busts on a 10-loss streak has a 41% chance of busting within 1,000 rolls. One that only busts on a 16-loss streak brings that down to 0.87%, but it still meets its streak eventually if it runs long enough. That is why stop rules matter as much as bet size.

Worked example

Balance 100, base bet 0.01, 49.5% chance, 100% increase on loss. The bets go 0.01, 0.02, 0.04, 0.08… The 13th bet is 40.96 and leaves 18.09. If that one loses too, the next bet would be 81.92, more than you have left. So a 13-loss streak ends this run, while any shorter streak is recovered by the next win. Every winning row returns the same 0.01 profit, which is the whole trade-off of martingale in one line.

Tips from running this live

  • Pick the streak you want to survive first, then derive the base bet. Never the other way around.
  • Set a session profit target. A setup that wins 0.01 per cycle needs many cycles; stop when the day is made.
  • Model a realistic recovery plan with the loss recovery calculator instead of raising the base bet after a bust.

The StakeDices SafeRisk strategy is built on exactly this calculation, and you can watch it run with real balance on our Kick stream.

Loss Streak Calculator: FAQ

How many losses in a row can I survive with martingale?

It depends on the ratio between your balance and base bet. Doubling on loss from a 0.10 base bet, a 100 balance can place 9 bets in a row, so a 9-loss streak ends the run; from a 0.01 base bet it takes a 13-loss streak. Each extra loss you want to absorb roughly halves the base bet you can use.

What does 'Bet greater than balance' mean?

It is the row where the next bet in the progression is larger than what is left in your balance, so the run cannot continue. In this calculator that row is highlighted in red. The old version of our calculator sometimes showed it too early because it compared numbers as text; that bug is fixed.

How likely is a long losing streak on Stake dice?

At 49.5% win chance, a 10-loss streak appears at least once in 1,000 rolls about 41% of the time, and in 10,000 rolls more than 99% of the time. Auto Bet reaches those numbers quickly, so plan for streaks, not around them.

What is the minimum increase on loss?

It is 100 / (payout − 1). At 49.5% chance the payout is 2x, so the minimum is 100%. At 33% chance (3x payout) it is 50%. Using less means one win no longer recovers all previous losses.

What does 'multiply every N losses' do?

Instead of increasing after every loss, the bet is increased only after every N consecutive losses. It slows the progression, which lets you survive more losses but makes each recovery smaller.
