How to use it
- Starting balance: your session bankroll today.
- Daily target %: the share of your balance you aim to win per day.
- Number of days: leave it at 1 for today's stop point, or enter any horizon.
The previous version of this tool labeled 120 days as "6 months". It now uses 180 days, so every milestone matches its label.
Compounding table for a 100 balance
| Daily target | 7 days | 30 days | 90 days | 180 days | 365 days |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.5% | $103.55 | $116.14 | $156.66 | $245.41 | $617.47 |
| 1% | $107.21 | $134.78 | $244.86 | $599.58 | $3,778.34 |
| 2% | $114.87 | $181.14 | $594.31 | $3,532.08 | $137,740.83 |
Why a daily target works (and when it does not)
A daily target gives every session a finish line. Without one, a good session keeps running until variance takes the profit back. With one, you stop the moment the day is done. That is the real value of this tool: it turns a vague goal into one number you can watch on the Live Stats panel.
The trap is the size of the target. Doubling the daily % does not double the risk, it multiplies it, because you need bigger bets relative to your balance and every increase cuts the losing streak you can survive. Check your numbers in the loss streak calculator before committing to a target.
Use it with a stop-loss
- Set the daily target with this calculator.
- Set a daily stop-loss you accept losing without chasing.
- If the stop-loss hits, plan the way back with the loss recovery calculator instead of raising your bets.
Inside the StakeDices strategy you get the daily target and stop-loss rules we use on stream, plus a spreadsheet to track them.
